Trevor Horwitz is a Managing Director and Global Advanced Analytics Lead in the Cyber and Data Resilience service line of Kroll based in London. He has over 30 years of experience specializing in financial crime investigations, forensic data analysis, regulatory compliance, and litigation support. His expertise includes leveraging data-driven insights to assist clients in navigating complex data analytics and financial crime risks, investigations, and regulatory enforcement actions.
He has provided expert guidance on high-profile financial crime matters, including fraud, market abuse, money laundering, and compliance failures, supporting both reactive investigations and pre-emptive risk mitigation strategies. He is experienced in working with structured and unstructured data to uncover actionable insights in forensic investigations, regulatory disclosures, and litigation proceedings.
Trevor has previously provided expert witness testimony and evidential reports in civil proceedings across England, Wales, Australia, and Singapore, particularly in relation to forensic data analysis, electronic disclosure, and investigative methodologies.
Trevor regularly speaks at conferences and publishes thought leadership on data analytics and resilience, data governance, artificial intelligence analytics, cryptocurrencies and digital assets computer forensics.
Member of the governance committee of Crypto UK, a self-regulatory body advocating for higher compliance standards and regulatory clarity in the UK digital asset sector.
Founding member of theSedona Conference’s International Electronic Information, Discovery, and Disclosure Working Group (WG6).
