Mr Scott Corthine is a highly experienced Consultant Podiatrist and Podiatric Surgeon with extensive experience in independent and NHS settings, management, professional regulation, and teaching. Scott has developed a strong reputation for clear communication, logical problem-solving, and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Mr Scott Corthine holds an MA in Healthcare, Law and Ethics from Swansea University, earned in 2011. He is a Fellow of the Surgical Faculty at the College of Podiatrists (1997), and completed his Diploma in Podiatric Medicine at the London Foot Hospital in 1988, where he also attained State Registered Chiropodist status. His professional education includes advanced qualifications in anaesthesia and radiation protection from the London Foot Hospital, and a certificate in prescription only medicines from the College of Podiatrists.

His clinical career encompasses extensive experience as a Consultant Podiatrist and Podiatric Surgeon for Newham University Hospital NHS Trust, a position he has held since 2018. Since 1998, he has worked independently as a podiatric surgeon at several major London hospitals, including The London Welbeck Hospital and The Highgate Hospital, and he serves as both a member and a former chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at London Welbeck Hospital. He has previously led the podiatric surgery unit at Ealing Hospital and contributed significantly to surgical training and professional mentoring within both the NHS and the private healthcare sector.

In addition to these roles, Scott has completed specialist training in report writing with Bond Solon and has undertaken mandatory safeguarding and health and safety modules at Barts NHS Trust. He is an experienced author of expert witness reports and is happy to provide oral evidence in court if required.
