I am a compassionate and experienced rheumatologist and physician, deeply committed to my profession and dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care to my patients. My clinical work is complemented by ongoing involvement in research, teaching, service development, and continual professional advancement — all of which reflect my commitment to excellence in rheumatology.

Alongside my clinical duties, I have received formal training as an expert witness and previously served as a medical examiner. I have also been invited by the Royal College of Physicians to participate in individual clinical practice reviews, a responsibility reserved for clinicians recognised for their expertise and integrity.

My clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of rheumatological and musculoskeletal conditions. I have particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of large‑vessel vasculitis, including cranial and extracranial giant cell arteritis, Takayasu’s arteritis, and polymyalgia rheumatica. Over the years, I have developed advanced proficiency in musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound for rheumatological conditions. My regular practice also includes managing small‑vessel vasculitis, inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, osteoporosis, spinal pain, chronic pain, and fibromyalgia.

I am frequently invited to teach on international courses and speak at conferences on giant cell arteritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and rheumatological ultrasonography, reflecting my active engagement in research and publication. I currently serve on the British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) guideline development group for giant cell arteritis and am a member of BSR and European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) special interest groups focused on giant cell arteritis, large‑vessel vasculitis, and polymyalgia rheumatica.
