Dr Das is a Consultant Paediatric and Adult Anaesthetist based in Oxford, specialising in complex paediatric and adult anaesthesia for craniofacial surgery, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, ENT, ophthalmic and cosmetic procedures.
He has been a Consultant Anaesthetist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2006 and completed advanced fellowship training in paediatric anaesthesia at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Dr Das provides several hundred anaesthetics per year across NHS and private practice, maintaining up‑to‑date, hands‑on clinical expertise. He accepts instructions on breach of duty and causation in cases of alleged clinical negligence relating to his expertise as a Consultant Paediatric and Adult Anaesthetist. Reports are undertaken from neonate to adult. He has extensive medico‑legal experience in anaesthesia‑related clinical negligence claims, including: airway management, craniofacial and neurosurgical anaesthesia, peri‑operative care, consent and risk communication, and complications of anaesthesia and sedation.
He is a GMC case reviewer in adult and paediatric anaesthesia and has completed the Bond Solon Excellence in Report Writing course, ensuring clear, robust, court‑compliant medico‑legal reports for solicitors, insurers and agencies.
