Dr Emma Temple

Dr Emma Temple is a consultant in anaesthesia and critical care medicine at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Her specialist interests include neuro anaesthesia and neuro critical care.

In her role as transfer lead, she contributes to transfer governance, including the investigation of critical incidents and the preparation of formal reports.

Areas of Expertise (Adult only)

• Anaesthesia - Neurosurgery (Including Mechanical Thrombectomy) and General
• Critical Care – Neurosurgery / Neuromedical and General
• Transfer of the Critically Ill Adult patient (land ambulance)

Dr Temple has a Law Masters (LLM) in Healthcare Ethics and Law, University of Manchester

Dr Temple plays an active role in teaching, has presented both nationally and internationally and is widely published.
