A Registered General Nurse, qualified in 2005, with over 25 years’ healthcare experience across medicine, surgery, community nursing, chronic illness, pain, oncology, wound care, stoma care, mental health, and palliative care. I have extensive experience in managing care and rehabilitation for adults with traumatic injuries and debilitating illnesses. I continue to undertake clinical nursing practice to maintain my professional registration and ensure my skills remain current.

As a Clinical Case Manager, I facilitate the delivery of effective rehabilitation and support programmes through the commissioning of appropriate clinicians, the recruitment and supervision of support workers, and the procurement of specialist equipment tailored to each client’s individual needs. I have significant experience supporting adults with life‑limiting illnesses and those who have sustained neurological injuries, coordinating multidisciplinary rehabilitation to maximise functional potential, promote independence, and enhance quality of life. I also provide mentorship and professional support to other case managers. I was the Traumatic Brain Injury Case Manager in Hadley v Przybylo, which won Personal Injury Case of the Year at the 2024 Annual Personal Injury Awards.
As an expert witness, I have prepared numerous reports for the Courts in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, including loss of service, aids and equipment, care requirements, breach of duty, and specialist nursing evidence.

In addition to my nursing qualifications and clinical experience, I have undertaken medico‑legal training and am fully aware of my responsibilities as an expert witness under the Civil Procedure Rules. I have experience liaising with legal teams and a clear understanding of the medico‑legal litigation process.

I have participated in numerous case conferences with Counsel, expert meetings, and joint discussions. I have given evidence in Court and have been cross‑examined on behalf of both claimants and defendants. I have also provided evidence in the Coroner’s Court. I undertake regular training and continuing professional development to maintain and enhance my practice.
