John Belfield Trichologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of all Hair and Scalp conditions.
With over 50 years experience in all aspects of Trichology, John also has a vast knowledge in the world of Hairdressing, having represented GREAT BRITAIN in the World and European Hairdressing Championships Winning Gold , Silver and Bronze Medals he is the only Britain to win medals in both Ladies and Men’s Hair events. John is also an International prizewinner in Japan, USA, Germany, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium and winner of the Golden Scissors in London.
Trichology is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the hair and scalp and is widely recognised as often seeing underlying medical conditions as the hair and scalp can respond to the very slightest changes to the body, although not in a Trichologist field of expertise.
Our Trichology service is based at our Hair and Beauty Salon in Newcastle-under-Lyme. John Belfield Qualified in 1969 with The Institute of Trichologist and also qualified in CPR with the Institute, having been a member of the Instiute for over 50 years, John is currently a registered member of the Association of Registered Trichologists and a regular contributor of articles in the Trichologist Times monthly Magazine.
Listed with the Institute of Trichologists and currently with the Association of Registered Trichologists as an Expert witness in CPR part 35 in relation to preparing reports specialising on any form of injuries to the hair and scalp, resulting from accidents in Hairdressing/Beauty Salons, Electrical/chemical hairstying products; RTA’s; Fireworks; Social Care, both Physical/and Mental Health facilities on behalf of Claimants and Defendants and Insurance Co’s.
Experienced in Personal injury reports/ witness for over 30 years.
Turn around time from initial Consultation to completed reports is 2-3 weeks.
Professional meeting rooms are arranged as close as possible to the Claimant/defendant eg., completed reports in Aberdeen, Dover, Swansea, Cardiff, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Leeds, Birmingham, London, Southend-on-Sea, Manchester covering all of the UK.
